Maloney Environmental Consulting (MEC) provides a variety of services to residential customers:

Asbestos Testing - Inspection, sampling and analysis of building materials. Inspections may be comprehensive, or focused on specific areas or materials. MEC designs the most logical and effective plan to identify problems, with an eye toward solving or managing asbestos issues.

Radon Testing - Short-term and long-term tests using state-of-the-art equipment and approved techniques. All results and mitigation options are clearly presented and thoroughly explained.

Lead-based Paint Testing - Inspection and testing in accordance with HUD guidelines and state requirements.

Drinking Water and Well Testing - Sampling and analysis and well inspection in accordance with federal and state guidelines and loan requirements.

Underground Storage Tank Inspection - Inspections, records searches and soil testing to determine if a tank may have leaked.

Septic System Testing - Records searches and field inspections of tanks and appurtenances to assess the integrity of a system.

Typical Projects:
MEC conducted an asbestos survey of a single family home. During the inspection, additional hazardous building materials were identified, and simple management activities were developed to minimize exposure to the residents. Click on photo to enlarge.
