Maloney Environmental Consulting (MEC) performs a variety of functions in support of commercial real estate transactions:

Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) - Detailed due diligence surveys with turnaround times designed to meet the needs of the client. Investigations, tailored to loan requirements and site history, range from simple Incidental Transaction Screens to highly complex ESAs.

Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Demolition Surveys - Comprehensive and time-sensitive inspections to support demolition activities. MEC can even help in the preparation of the demolition specification.

Drinking Water Testing - Sampling and analysis of drinking water in commercial, public and school buildings. Solutions are designed to meet regulatory requirements in the most cost-effective manner.

Typical projects:

MEC performed a comprehensive Environmental Site Assessment at the headquarters property of a major regional bank. The investigation cleared up unknown issues regarding historical releases to the environment, and facilitated the timely transfer of the 3-acre property to a new owner. Click on photo to enlarge.

MEC performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and an extensive asbestos survey of a 90-acre farm, including eleven buildings. The Phase I cleared the site for sale and the asbestos survey aided the buyer in planning demolition activities. Click on photo to enlarge.

MEC conducted surveying and mapping activities of a 3-acre former industrial site. MEC used the resulting data to develop a detailed demolition specification for the removal of several structures and the proper disposal of hazardous materials. Click on photo to enlarge.
